My All-Time Top 50 Songs

Obviously, these picks aren’t my argument for the BEST songs ever written. My love of music stems from the personal interpretation and introspection it allows, so my selections are the best reminders of where I’ve been and where I want to go.

Observing the “one song per artist” rule, in alphabetical order below are the 50 songs that mean the most to me at age 23. I wonder how many selections will still make the cut in another 5 years:
